1. Start the game by selecting “Play” from the main menu.

2. After the title screen, you will be taken to a world map. Use the left stick to move around and the right stick to look around.

3. To start a new game, select “New Game” from the main menu.

4. In the game world, you will see a green light in front of you and a purple light behind you. Use the left stick to move Yooka-Laylee forward and use the right stick to look around. When you see an object that you want to interact with, press down on the left trigger button and then use your right thumbstick to move Yooka-Laylee towards that object. When you are close enough, press down on both triggers at once and then use your thumbstick to interact with that object.
